Forum Rules
§1 General rules
1. After registering an account you are obligated to accept and follow the forum rules.
2. The forum is available for being used by every player while that player respects the rules.
3. Persons who are responsible for the forum are Moderators, Super Moderator , Forum Admin and Game Admin. They reserve the right to modify rules anytime is necessary. In addition, when you get a problem on forum you need to contact that persons firstly. When you have a problem with a member of forum staff , contact always the superior ( the hierarchy of persons to contact is Moderator > Super Moderator > Forum Admin > Game Admin).
4. All rules apply in every section of forum, including private messages , visitors messages, signatures , albums or social groups.
5. Every player can have maximum 1 account in the forum.
§2 Forbidden Content
1. The rules in this section apply to posts, private messages , images and any other form of communication of the forum. Note that quoting posts containing forbidden content is deemed the same as posting it yourself.
2. The following content and/or behaviour is strictly forbidden:
A. Re-posts, Cross-posts, Double-posts and Bump or Necro Posts. Reposting all or part of a locked thread is only permitted with the advance permission of a Moderator. "Official Forum Announcements" are excluded from this rule.
B. Impersonating staff. This includes "Deputy" posts pointing out that someone is breaking the forum rules. Please use the report button instead.
C. Spam, Flames and Insults. Spam can include, but is not limited to: posts which do not contribute significantly to the thread’s discussion; posts which are not related to the sub-forum overall theme; the overuse of various text format options. The moderation team is the final arbiter of what is or is not spam, and of whether something is flaming / insulting or not.
D. Inappropriate Language. This forum is open to all ages, and content should reflect that. If you trip the automatic censor, you must edit your post to a less offensive term. Bypassing the censor or "implying" inappropriate language by using symbols, misspellings, acronyms or in other ways is against the rules. Not all offensive terms are automatically censored, or offensive in every context. The moderation team is the final arbiters of whether a term is or is not acceptable in any given context.
E. Pornographic, racist or otherwise discriminatory or inappropriate text or images. All content must be suitable for users under the age of 18.
F. Posting uncensored battle reports. Permission to post uncensored reports must be sent via PM to the relevant section moderator, An Smod or the forum Admin including a direct link to the full report ingame before the report is posted. Permission from all parties mentioned on the report must be obtained. Reports of attacks on or by WW villages or attacks involving Building Plans or Artefacts are excluded from this rule. Reports which have name of attacker and defender censored are accepted.
G. Transcripts of private communication without permission. This includes, but is not limited to, contents of forum Private Messages (PMs), In-Game Messages (IGMs), or emails, as well as conversations via any instant messaging service such as Skype or MSN. Permission from all parties involved must be sent via PM to the relevant section moderator before the material is posted.
H. Posting of Personal data without permission. Personal information (which includes but is not limited to: real life name, address or photo) of a member may not be posted without the express consent of the person or people concerned. Minors (U18s) may only post such information themselves/have such information posted if their legal representative’s approval has been given. Upon posting such information, the user expressly asserts his/her age of majority and legal capacity or – for minors – the existence of their legal representative’s approval. Any posting of personal data is entirely at the user’s own risk.
I. Discussion of any official Moderator actions. This includes, but is not limited to, reputation awards, forum warnings, bans and infractions. Complaints should be made always to superior.
J. Direct discussion of specific in-game bans. Threads may be created to discuss the wider impact of a ban on the politics of a server, providing that the ban itself is not discussed. Threads may be created to discuss a ban in a hypothetical form but there must be no content which might allow the parties involved to be identified (such as server, account names or anything related to the identity of the players) posted anywhere in the thread, and the thread must remain polite in tone and comply with all other forum rules.
K. Posts which violate or encourage the violation of the Travian Game Rules. This includes, but is not limited to, external “Cropfinder” tools , bots for helping you in game, browser scripts and public posting of account details.
L. Advertisements, of any kind. Linking to competitors of Travian is also explicitly forbidden. Whether discussion of something is considered advertising is up to the discretion of the moderation staff. “Link” games are also totally forbidden. Gold-Referral links must not be displayed in a misleading manner, or outside of signatures. Misleading links, such as "tinyurl" and "rickrolls" are also forbidden.
M. Any attempt to coerce or provoke other users into breaking the Rules. Any user who is continuously insulting towards other members or staff and have been warned of this action before are considered to be trolling, trolling will result in an infraction or ban.
§3 Forum Languages
1. Posts must not be in any language other than that of the opening post of the thread, unless an exception listed below applies.
2. Threads may only be begun in either English or Filipino .
3. If starting post is in Filipino, you need to prove an English translation as well.
4. If you are unable to translate your post yourself, please contact a moderator, who will provide a translation, providing that the post falls within other forum rules. You may not post until you have received the translation from the Moderation Team.
5. Posts in any language other than English or Filipino must have been granted permission by either the Forum or Game Administrator in advance of posting. Any translations in either Filipino or English depending on the original post of the thread must be posted at the same time.
6. Any language other than English or Filipino that is posted with permission from an Administrator must have an English or Filipino translation posted with it and supplied in advance.
7. Posts must be legible. The limited use of "text speak" is acceptable, however Moderators have the right to edit your post if the text used in the post is deemed unreadable.
§4 Profile
1. The maximum size allowed for your avatar is 120x120 pixels.
2. Signatures, including any images, text and BB-Code tags (i.e. Quotes), are limited to a maximum overall height of 160 pixels, which roughly equates to 8 lines of standard text, and a maximum overall width of 700 pixels.

§5 Warnings and Infractions
1. Punishments are at the discretion of the moderation staff. The following guidelines are generally used, but the moderation staff are free to give custom punishments, including, but not limited to permanent bans, IP bans, or bans from specific forum areas , in any and all cases as required depending on the respective situation.
A. First violation: Warning, possible Infraction
B. Second and ensuing violations: Infraction
Each infraction is worth one or more points. When you receive enough points, you will be automatically banned for a length of time determined by your total number of active points.
2. Evading a ban by using a secondary account may result in a ban of both accounts, or a ban of one account and a further infraction on the other. Infractions earned by posts made by secondary accounts may be added to the primary account.
3. Forum content, including but not limited to; posts, messages, avatars, signatures, profile information and albums, which breaks the forum rules may be edited or deleted at moderator discretion.
§6 Redress of Grievances
1. Staff will aim to be fair and transparent in their dealings with infracted/banned users. If you have a complaint or question about a moderator’s decision, then first contact that Moderator, then a Super Moderator. If you still cannot resolve the situation you may also contact the Forum Administrator at any time. If there is no Moderator listed for the section you have an issue in, please contact the Forum Administrator or a Super Moderator. The only person able to ask for transparency is the user directly affected by the Moderators action/decision.
2. Under no circumstances should you post in a thread or create a new thread to resolve the situation.
3. The proper procedure for redress of Grievances is:
1. Moderator
2. Super Moderator
3. Forum Administrator
4. Game Administrator
